JUNE AFFIRMATION ANTIDOTE

The world is so large and there is so much available to us, yet social media tends to make us feel so small at times and how we think we exist within it. The fact is we choose to pick how we show the world who we are, what we are, and where we are in our lives. We often pick to give them a glimpse of the “good moments” that exist and leave everything else offline. Some of us choose to use social to play the role of “do as I say, not as I do” (sadly some don’t realize they are playing this role), and some choose to keep the candle burning until it smolders out.

I realized this isn’t the world I want to live in and I decided to alter and shift the mindset of reality by being honest and replacing it with authentic imperfection.

That is my chosen cure, the antidote for finding a healthy relationship with society and those within it. We should celebrate the in-between, the day-to-day, and the small things that bring us joy, happiness, and connection. We should glamourize the simplicity of each day and make the moments count.

With that here are my June Affirmation Antidotes to help me shift my mind and how I choose to move into social and connect with those around me. Hopefully one or two of these will help you see the beauty and the flicker of burning light.

JUNE AFFIRMATIONS – take as you need

  • Find comfort in setting higher standards for who gets access to me, my time, my energy, and my emotions.
  • Be honest at the moment with those around me. Don’t be afraid, to be honest, but kind. Either they will understand or they will move on.
  • Being vocal about your feelings doesn’t mean you are being passive.
  • Curate little wins, moments, and joys as often as you can.
  • Find gratitude in all that you curate.
  • See possibility in the obstacles that exist in front of you.
  • Take the time each day to reach out to one person to let them know that they matter. One voice, one person can change it all.
  • Make time to make your bed each morning, as that becomes one habit, one task you conquered that day. It may sound silly, but in the end, you’ll see that one task will lead to many.

Have one you want to share? I’d love to hear your Affirmation Antidote.
